Joe Moore lies about WalMart

Chicago Alderman Joe Moore has drunk deep from the Kool-Aid pitcher.  He voted No to the next new Wal-Mart to be built.  His reason- boilerplate talking points from the SEIU and other anti Wal-Mart activists.  The man cannot even come up with his own critically thought out reasons for voting one way or another.  A true sign of corruption.

First, no Wal-Mart is being built in his ward.  Why does he care?  If he hates Wal-Mart, like he is instructed to do, then do not allow one in his ward.  Simple, right?  Wrong.  Joe Moore loves campaign cash- even more than he cares about his constituents.  So, even though the Wal-Marts are something like fifteen miles away from his ward and his constituents will not be victims of Wal-Mart’s alleged predations, he votes No.  Like the trained house pet that he is.

Joe Moore is what is wrong with the Chicago City Council, the zoning laws, and the business environment in Chicago.  He is anti-business.  It is time for him to go.  He is as corrupt as the rest, just way more sophisticated.  We need pro-business aldermen.  Aldermen who understand that businesses provide jobs and revenue.  We need people who only care about bringing good jobs into the city.  Not people who worry about diversity, equal outcome justice, false allegations against companies, or other silly notions that have nothing to do with economic development.  We need people who believe in the American Free Enterprise System.  People who will make it easier for businesses to start and thrive, instead of obstructing them at every turn.

Joe Moore is just a robot.  He is preprogrammed to say certain things.  He does not have an original thought of his own.  We do not need parroting robots in the Chicago City Council.  We need people who can make sound decisions based on original critical thought.  We do not need people who spout canned phrases like a myna bird.
