The blame game

Yesterday, alongside Mayor Daley and the families of fallen police officers, Governor Quinn signed legislation to increase penalties for illegal possession of weapons.  Quinn, shamelessly using these families as political props, signed another useless law!  A law liberal Democratic judges will not enforce.  A law that does nothing to protect our citizens.  A law that does nothing to end the brazen outrageous crime and violence in our inner city.  Pat Quinn did not make prioritized budget cuts to provide more police.  He stole the city’s share of the Illinois income tax to give raises to his staff and jobs to political hacks.

We have tragically lost three police officers in the last two months.  Killed while off duty. There is an epidemic of violence in our city.  Our children are being slaughtered on the streets.  Pat Quinn does not care.  His union financiers made sure their members jobs were saved- at the expense of public safety.  Cops and citizens did not give him a couple of million dollars.

What is Pat Quinn’s response?  Blame Brady.  That’s right.  It is Brady’s fault Mayor Daley cannot hire more police.  It is Brady’s fault Chicago is under siege.  Its Brady’s fault Democratic judges are soft on criminals.  It’s Brady’s fault criminals were set free from prison early.  What is it with Democrats?  Don’t the ever take any responsibility for the grief they cause- and now the lives lost?

I guess Pat Quiinn forgot it was his own Democratic Party who passed laws handcuffing the police, making them fearful for their jobs, and making so called social justice trial lawyers rich.  Eric Holder is no friend of law enforcement.  Police are afraid of going to prison for just doing their jobs.  Pat Quinn blames Brady.

Pat Quinn is outside the mainstream, more than any gubernatorial candidate in the history of our state. When it comes to crime, Quinn isn’t a liberal; he’s an extreme radical.   He enables and embraces criminals, while short changing police.  His is supported by lawyers, some of the same lawyers who sue police departments for frivolous torts and laugh all the way to the bank.  Of course Pat Quinn is a life time member of organized crime- the Chicago Democratic Machine.

At this crucial time, we cannot afford a leader who opposes even the most commonsense law enforcement techniques.  We cannot afford a leader who short changes our police officers.  We cannot afford a leader who aids, enables, and abets violent criminals.  We cannot afford a leader who takes money from lawyers who sue on behalf of criminals and cause further restrictions on the brave men and women in blue.  We cannot afford Pat Quinn!

This election is about life.  Yours and your children’s.  You cannot afford Pat Quinn.  Vote like your life depended on it.  It does.
