My money is better than your money- na na na na na naaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Alexi Giannoulias must think running for Senator is a child’s game.  He is now playing mine is better than yours.  In the race for campaign funds, Mark Kirk is ahead.  Way ahead.  The cute, adorable mob banker’s response- he has better money.  Election reports state Kirk has out raised Giannoulias by over two to one.  So we have the mine is better than yours game.

Money is money.  It is inanimate.  It has no innate natural or artificial intelligence.  It has no morals.  It has no ethics.  It is not honest or dishonest.  It has no integrity.  It is just money.  The same money that buys milk, bread, and advertising, can buy dope, prostitutes, or finance real estate for mobsters.

Alexi has nothing to run on.  Zero, zip, nada.  He is a blank slate and an empty suit.  Kind of like that feller running the country right now.  His basketball buddy.  In reality, all Giannoulias has is his relationship with President Obama- and the hope some of the magic will rub off on him.  The problem is Obama’s coat tails are getting shorter every day.  Alexi’s platform was designed and written by the DNC.  He is nothing but a poster boy.  A cute male model.  A vacuous heart throb.

If the family bank had not failed, Alexi’s campaign would have “borrowed” money from his family.  “Dirty” bank money.  The kind of money Alexi claims caused some of our problems.  The real problem with Alexi Giannoulias is he has no platform, he has no solutions to issues, and he has no integrity.  There is no substance.  America learned its lesson.  We put cute and adorable in the White House.  Remorse is running rampant.  Cute and adorable just does not cut it.

If elected to the Senate, Alexi would just be a house plant.  He would sit, unobtrusively, and do what he was told, vote the way he was told, and keep his mouth shut.  Once in a while someone would water him with a small pork project.  If he tried to grow to big for his pot, Dick Durbin would trim him down.
