Desperation

Pat Quinn released a commercial slamming his opponent, State Senator Bill Brady, for his views on abortion.  Pat Quinn must be desperate.  This is a cheap shot made by a man who knows he is going to lose.  Pat Quinn cannot run on his record.  He is a dismal failure.  Pat Quinn cannot run on economic issues.  He knows nothing about economics.  Pat Quinn cannot run on fiscal responsibility.  He is irresponsible and has caused the state to go into insolvency.

The problem is his approval rating went up four points.   This says more about the ignorance of the public than it says about the ineptness of Quinn.  Single issue voters are the bane of all elections.  They are also the least intelligent people.  What critical thinking individual would base a vote on one single issue- be it guns, abortion, gays, etc.  Especially when there are severe financial and economic crises looming.  Pat Quinn is doing nothing more than blaming others and flapping his arms like a sea gull.

The single issue voter is an extreme extremist.  They would allow a heinous criminal to get elected, as long as the criminal backed their right to whatever.  This election is too important for litmus test issues.  This election is about the future of Illinois.  A future that is in peril.  Quinn and his fellow Democrats have put us here.  They have created a blizzard of issues and have offered no solutions.

Stop and think people.  Critically think.  Is one issue so important that it overwhelms all else.  It cannot be stressed enough.  This is the most important election in our lives- no matter your age.  You really only have two choices.  Vote for Bill Brady or get ready to leave Illinois.  If Quinn gets in, there will be no Illinois.
