UPDATE: Tea Party tells NAACP to grow up:
“As the tea party movement has gained political momentum, groups or individuals still playing the race card look like a foolish embarrassment to their own party,” he said. “It’s time for the NAACP to grow up and stop hiding behind hypocritical race-baiting politics.”

The NAACP was started in 1909.  The Tea Party Movement started in 2009.  The one hundred plus year old NAACP is acting like juveniles- and losing relevance, while while the just toddler stage Tea Party Movement is acting like adults and gaining momentum.  Who would have thunk?

“We have to close the enthusiasm gap,” NAACP president Ben Jealous said in an interview with the Associated Press Friday. “The danger of the Tea Party is that people see them and think about periods in history when groups like them were much more powerful than they are now, and so a lot of what we spend energy doing is explaining to people what reality is, and that the reality is that the majority from 2008 still exists.”

Mr. Jealous is smoking too much of that hopium.  The 2008 majority is falling apart faster than a house of cards in a breeze.  But, that is not the real problem.  This statement was made before the NAACP was to vote on a resolution condemning the Tea Party for racism.  A charge never proved.  The NAACP will not condemn the New Black Party Movement for its racism.  It refuses to refer to them as a hate group.  It refuses to condemn them for their calls for violence against Whites.  Maybe Mr. Jealous should change his name to Mr. Hypocrite.  I guess he never saw these videos.  Unlike the mere allegations against Tea Party members, these are documented.

Note, the following videos contain profanity, hate speech, and violent speech.  They are not meant for the kiddies or the squeamish.
