More blame game

Now its immigration.  Democratic Governor’s attending the National Governors Association convention, are lambasting the White House over the lawsuit filed by the Justice Department against Arizona.  The governors claim the timing is bad.  The Democratic governors have been blaming Team Obama and their party leadership for all their various ills.  Pat Quinn is blaming Washington for his own incompetence.

They are afraid.  Some, like the inept Pat Quinn, are facing reelection with fast fading prospects.  Others who are leaving office are afraid Republicans may take their seats.  The voters are in a state of rebellion and are looking for alternatives.  Most polls show state Democrats face daunting, if not impossible, challenges in upcoming elections.  House and Senate seats are in play too.

So, the governors are blaming Obama for their ills.  They do not have Bush to kick around anymore.  Now, they are wailing about the timing of the suit against Arizona.  The governors want to discuss jobs.  Team Obama wants to discuss, ah, er, hmmm; no one knows what they want to discuss, but they do want to discuss it.

The governors are talking to the hearing impaired.  When a vast majority of voters- across the political spectrum- were against the Health Care bill, the Administration and the Democratic leadership rammed it through.  All polls show a majority of voters are in favor of the Arizona immigration law.  The Administration is going to fight it.  This Administration and the Democratic leadership do not care what the people want or do not want.  They also do not care about Democratic candidates.  They only care about what they want and doing what they want.

They won.  That is their attitude.  They won.  They have all the marbles.  They do not care about anything else.  The chickens are coming home to roost.  Democrats across the board face annihilation in November.  Even Democratic voters are disappointed and fed up with tone deaf Washington and state Capitols.  They want results, not rhetoric or multi-thousand page bills long on promise and short on solutions.

The Democratic governors also refuse to blame themselves.  What have they done to improve the economic climate in their own states?  Look at Pat Quinn.  Businesses have been demanding changes in the state’s draconian commercial policies.  He refuses to listen.  Commercial and industrial interests have been crying for some relief from an overbearing Illinois state government.  Quinn shuns their cries for mercy.

Pat Quinn and his merry band of Democratic governors have no one to blame but themselves.  This melt down has been coming for a long while.  The governors have not been paying attention.  Like Quinn, insted of making their states more attractive to businesses, they repelled them.

The Democratic governors are like little children.  It is always someone else’s fault.  Better, they are like criminals who claim SODDI- some other dude did it.
