It appears Forrest Claypool will be on the ballot in November. Joe “The Lobster” Berrios, pictured left, is not going to challenge Claypool’s nominating petitions. In a self serving piece of puffery The Lobster claims one third of the signatures cast and petitions submitted were “questionable”.
In the spirit of being a nice guy (gak) and trying to save his campaign, Claypool’s campaign and the taxpayers money, he will not file challenge to Mr. Claypool’s right to be on the November ballot.
According to “The Lobster”, Mr. Claypool has over 30,000 valid signatures. What a blow hard! Berrios has no challenge. Claypool only needed 25,000 valid signatures. The Lobster had no case. Pretending to be a nice guy cuts no ice. He would waste money mounting a challenge and look like a bigger fool than he is. After the Board laughed at him, the courts would laugh at him. They also would chide him. Courts do not like frivolity.
Berrios hopes Claypool runs a spirited campaign. I guess that means he hopes Claypool does not attack the Lobster’s total lack of ethical behavior, conflicts of interest, or constant his lobbying against the public interest- hence the name The Lobster.
I love Democrats. They are such lovable clowns. Even when they pretend to be nice guys they still come off looking like buffoons. Instead of running for public office they should get late late night comedy shows.
