That’s right, Chicago is number 1! As in the highest sales tax in the nation. The combined city, state, county and RTA sales taxes make Chicago the number one city in the nation for sales taxation.
Why? Waste, fraud, mismanagement, and a corrupted political structure no one wants to reform. It is time to say enough to this total lack of fiduciary responsibility. It is time to say enough to the one party rule costing the city 500 million dollars a year in waste, fraud, and mismanagement. This is the reason our taxes are high. Waste, fraud, and mismanagement. Not good governance.
It is a disgrace. It is disgusting, deplorable, detestable, and despicable. Just like the Democrats who have instituted these taxes. One party rule in Chicago means a totally corrupt political system. One party rule is bleeding the tax payer dry. Is it any wonder businesses hate Chicago, Cook County, and the State of Illinois?
There is only one solution. Vote all the incumbents out, including the head tax master himself, Mayor Daley. We need honest, ethical, and financially responsible people in city government. Not predatory jackals and wolves. Daley and his rubber stamp council have nothing but harm to this city. They are thoroughly corrupt. This corruption is costing us money. Soon they will tax the air we breath.
